Day 20-Hiraeth

A homesickness for somewhere you cannot return to, the nostalgia and the grief for the lost places of your past, places that never were. 

This challenge has proven to be very challenging to me, each day a new word to interpret into an abstract drawing. It has been an emotional journey as well. I find that once I connect with the word the drawing fulfills me when I can emotional feel it and then let it go. Similar to writing in a journal about your feelings except each day I am sent to a feeling that I may have not been feeling that day.

Today's word took me to a place that is no longer in the family. I have such fond memories of this place that I enjoy capturing it. I tried to stay vague hoping it looked abstract.
